AFAIK not immediately tax deductible but they do get added to the cost base. It will NOT be a state based question. The issue of tax deductibility rests with the ATO and the Feds.

I'm glad I said not a "state based" issue and not a "state & territories based" issue. ACT is all on a 99 year lease is it not?
