I am currently about to sign for a contract to buy a townhouse in brisbane and is looking for a solicitor to take care of the conveyancing. One of the quote i asked for returned with a fixed price inclusive of the following searches :
2x title searches, Land Tax Clearance search, Body Corporate information certificate, Local Council rates and water.
As being new in this, may I ask if these are the standard items that have to be searched and if anything else is needed ? Your advice is greatly appreciaed. Thanks
