Bogan, NSW.... the geographical centre of NSW.

Collector (a town not named after me - go figure:confused:)

Broke (not a smart place to invest?)

Woodenbong (never seen one made out of wood)

Rugby (I thought it was a sport)

Moorland (now we're talkin')

Mayrung (but she didn't leave a message)

Lucknow (about time)

Little Wobby (too much ****)

Jackalass (I'm sure he is)

Howlong (are we there yet?)

Crookwell (so are you sick or are you well?)

Crakenback (great place for a chiroprator)

Blue Knob (never seen one that colour before)

In Victoria we have a town called Pakenham. Just to the north is Pakenham Upper.

I always thought Koo Wee Rup was funny when I was a kid. Maybe because it's near Poowong.

We always got a bit of a laugh from "coonamble". Fancy calling a town after some people who travel slow (this was teenage laughter though)...

"Wombat" is close to my heart though. damn good pub there.

Also, as a kid growing up Central west NSW, we called the people from "Narromine" as being "narrow minded people".

As a test to our foreign friends, we tried to get them to pronounce "Wooloomooloo"

"Eumungerie" was also a good one to try and your mouth around (especially after a few social drinks in the Eumungerie pub.

But the real snicker from our teenage years was "Rooty Hill".

Thanks
