Streets Ahead - book

Yes
I read it over the weekend.
It's quite good.
Nothing new in it (for me anyway) but a good easy read and worth having in your property library.
The Wakelin's give sound real estate advice and you could do a lot worse than follow their ideas.

Hi Michael,

I already have Jan Somers books and Fred Johnsons books. Does Monique's book cover anything else? For example, does it have much to say about the Melbourne property market which isn't covered in Jan's and Fred's books? Is it a starter book or will it benefit experienced investors? Is it biased towards negative or positive gearing?

Thanks in advance - Mike

I am very new to all this and I've been reading everything I can find in the last few weeks. I really enjoyed 'Streets Ahead' and for someone starting out it gave me lots of things to think about.

No I don't think it says anything new, probably much the same with a different slant.
They are very much for buying established properties with architectural character.
