Suggestions for a 4wd - around $14,000

I used to own a truck like that Dazz . I see it's not on gas so gonna be extra hard on the juice eh ! Good work horse though .

Reminds me of Clint "Get off my lawn " :D

tHAT'S a beauty Dazz. It looks a bit like my husbands work ute, except the speedo stopped working on his at 250,000k's. Pitty it's only a 3 seater.

......or this one if you want to stay in the price range....

5 seats, low k's for the motor size, 4x4, in budget at 11K....

Righto that's enough of that nonsense, I'm going back to search for warehouses. This car thing is mind numbing.

2006 SUZUKI GRAND VITARA JB Type 2

I think I may have found a car that I like for around $20,000. It has done 65,000k's, never been offroad, rustproofed, auto, great condition, suzuki services. What do you think?? The age does concern me slightly.

To me, the Land-cruisers and ST Patrol's are the only 'real' 4wd's on the market cause they're just so 'propper' and everything is tuff on them, they will take you anywhere.

I wouldn't touch the great walls with a 10ft pole.. if I was going to actually do any 4 wheel driving in it.
There are many soccer Mom 4wd's out there, and they sure look it too!

My 80 series just seems to float over the toughest of paths and I love it.
Shes a trusty ol girl. Done 180kms and only have to start doing the minor oil leaks. They will take me 1 day to complete and I'm not too worried at the moment because it's only very minor and poses no threat. These motors will keep running if serviced properly and the trucks not only hold their value, but have been creeping UP. A property lovers dream ;D

PS, Auto is favoured by pro 4wders too and I much prefer it also.

I know people who run their Vitara's (autos) in some pretty rough conditions - so I've changed my views a bit about them recently when they took me for a ride in one (pictured) :)

My first 4wd was a Suzy Sierra - built like a miniature tank, but you needed to be a well as you got bashed against bare metal and got your arms torn off by mean kickback :D (ahh....memories....)
