would some one know if there is any advantage in swapping properties and saving money besides r/e agent fees. ie stamp duty
or tax advantages as i am thinking of down grading from my country property to a family
home in town, which is suitable for renovations

Hi Danny

Be careful, as I am sure that you will be. Get references and ask a solicitor to draw up a binding agreement.

I know it's tempting to trust that "she'll be right" but, the worst that can happen here is that you lose your home so, plan carefully.
