Sorry if i came across a bit defencive. I just get a bit annoyed when people harp on about strata costs. Not to say it isnt to be considered, but one needs to look at all the components to make a judgement. For example, $700 pq strata=$53 per week as aposed to $1000 pq =$77 per week. but an extra $50 in rent per week =$2600 per year, minus $1250 in extra strata payed, and your still in front by $1350. I still think looking for reasonable rates is a good idea. Just dont forget to look at all the angles
