I'm not sure about the new message notifications. Perhaps might be a cookie / signon issue.

Anyway, about the logins... I have a theory: do you use WinME ?

So that blows my theory out of the water... oh well. I would suggest not using the back button on the browser. It makes things slower, but more reliable for web applications. I still suspect something to do with session management on the browser, but don't really want to get into troubleshooting cookies and such. Oh well. Pester Ian if it becomes a problem !
