Thank You from a Newbie

Hello

I just wanted to say thank you to all on the forum. It has been a minefield of a learning curve for me including the non property related topics as well.

Was introduced to this forum by another Somersoftian (Virgo - Thank You) nearly a year ago and I have not looked back since.

Things I have learnt so far

Most of the information is available on Somersoft
Read Read Read - books, property magazines
Unbelievable how much time I spent and spend reading the forum
Surround yourself with likeminded people
If not sure, do not hesitate to ask
If others can do it so can you.

I still have so much to learn.

I'm actually surprised how many investors I meet that don't visit this (or any) forums.

This place is good for education, the help offered is free.

I have also received excellent service from a broker and a BA ( for a more complicated purchase). Both are regular contributors here, giving their knowledge away for free most of the time.

I would also like to add my thanks.
I was reading this forum for about 6 months before i decided to tentatively join. I cant contribute much, but i have learned a lot, and hope to learn more.

Yeah it's addictive. My fingers start automatically typing out "s" "o" "m" as soon as I'm in front of a computer.
