The chat room

From: Jude H

Have been playing around on the site, seeing how it all works and think that it's fantastic. The way the post and replys are kept together is very smart indeed.

The trouble will be the chat room. Someone awhile back was talking about being a forum junkie (something like that). Can you imagine if you've got the likes of TW, GC, sim', Les or Rolf, to name a few, chatting away. Are you likely to leave the discussion? I think not. So who's supposed to get tea when this happens? Honey.....

Cheers all

Jude :)

Jude, Jude, Jude !

Don't tell me you don't have a thermos and biscuit tin kept by your computer ?

Or even plumbing in the study so that you don't actually have to leave the computer at all ?

Oh... that's right... I forgot that not everyone is a computer nerd like me who pretty much lives online... sorry !

;-)

BTW. do you think that my computer-widow-wife would ever consider bringing me something while I'm in the middle of a chat ? I think not ! You girls may have more luck with your computer-widower-husbands though.

Bless you sim'. I hadn't even thought of the thermos.

Love your signature and bio.

Well, my study is best because it is actually the laundry!

State of the art laundry, I might add.

Only trouble is, I get OMO in the Tim Tams!

So how does that work ?
Study in the laundry ?

All the laundries that I have had experience with are not entirely suitable for making into a study !

Actually, come to think of it, there was a house in Adelaide I lived in while at uni. It was one of those bungalow style houses with a back veranda that had been enclosed. At one end was a small room, big enough for a bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. At the other end was an open laundry area. In the middle was just an open area which I converted into my study area with a desk and my computer etc. So I suppose, technically, I was studying in the laundry too !

You gotta hate it though, when you get OMO in the TimTams. Nothing worse !
