The land tax "issue"...

I see this referenced a lot, is there more to this than the fact you have to pay land tax??

We're about to hit the limit in QLD, but feel as though this is where CG could be in the next few years.

Would you still buy there or would you look elsewhere to avoid land tax?

Would be more than open to this idea, just need to learn more. I only just realised that I was so close to the cap as I don't reside in Australia so have the lower limit.
