Old thread I know, but I just come across a few books by this guy while searching the uni library catalogue. I did a google and this thread popped up. I will have to go out and borrow the books now. Fascinating!

ah Peter Clyne, didnt he:

send commissioner of taxation flowers each year for xmas?

write a book "how to enjoy your bankruptcy"

encourage employees to ask their employer to pay them by benefits rather than cash. thereby avoid PAYE deductions. (ATO then introduced FBT)

The man was ahead of his time.

I must admit, I take stuff from Trident Press with some huge grains of salt- they do go in for a lot of conspiracy type ideas.

I like the Peter Clyne Memorial Lecture

I take some of their touted returns and self promotion with a healthy dose of those salts also

Great read...and well before Part IVA and the ability of the taxation commisioner to declare an event has happened, even when it hasn't
