thermolaminated vs 2pac kitchen

the kitchen company has quoted me on both..
there is a $600 difference (!!!)

the very considerate kitchen man believes that i am better off going the thermolaminated (vinyl wrap) but i am really tossing up the 2pac..

what are the advantages of going vinyl over 2pac??

my reasons for wanting to go 2pac is that it looks more upmarket, however, the high gloss vinyl does look just as good..

thanks :)

Hi Artemis;

I think the Vinyl wrap is not as durable as the 2 pak.

In one of my IPs, the kitchen doors has vinyl wrap and after a couple of years, the cabinet doors above the cook top were damaged due to the heat from the cook top.
The vinyl around the lower edges of the damaged doors comes off because the heat/steam has soften the glue that hold the vinyl to the door.

Hope this helps

Totally artemis.
Agents always say polyurethane kitchen when selling. Never vinyl.
I make kitchens and poly will last longer.
Sydney price is currently about $ 80 per square metre. But each sprayer is different depending on how busy they are at the time. Also how many kitchens your guy is getting sprayed a week and how much profit he puts on top of his price. My guy is a balinese bloke who sleeps in his factory.
Great sprayer Bad gambler
