This Comic Will Forever Change the Way You Look at Privilege

Good comic, thank you.
We should all feel grateful we live in Australia, a wealthy country relative to the rest of the world, where we do not live in a war zone, where most of us have food in their bellies, plenty of water, a roof over our heads, access to health services, quality education, where people are not arbitrarily prosecuted, where we have freedom and can earn a decent living. Etc, etc, etc.

Priviledged indeed. :)

I keep reminding myself about "1st world problems". This week, the coffee machine at work was out of order for 2 days... 2 whole days! Some had to have ... shock horror ... INSTANT coffee! While others walked out to the nearby cafe to buy some.

Seriously, if that's the worst that happens to you this week, it's an awesome week.

It's so easy to become complacent and, as the comic shows, self-deserving (is that a thing?) but as I get older, as corny as it sounds, I'm more and more grateful for the simple(r) things.
