Transferring from "estate of ...." to names of executors without paying stamp duty?

There was talk recently of a method of transferring property from an estate to the names of the executors and avoiding paying stamp duty.

I'd appreciate any help with how I can find out whether this is something that we can do.

I'd really appreciate any help, via this thread or via PM.

Thanks so much.

Stamp duty could be avoided.

A transfer from an executor to a beneficiary under a will is generally exempt from stamp duty. If you buy it from the executor then stamp duty would be payable.

Don't want to give the secret away on a public forum (or in a private pm/email).

One of the reasons it appears cloak and dagger is that we have all signed non disclosure agreements including myself. That means we cant disclose on a public forum the details. It is to protect legal counsels intellectual property.

If someone decided the strategy was appropriate then obviously they would obtain sign off my the legal counsel and also have to sign their own non disclosure agreement.
