6% yield (on your purchase price + reno costs if memory serves) in a suburb where 3.9% is the going yield for a 1 bed.

I think I might have to go lime green on my new kitchen too ;)

Great savings on top of the line appliances and your own workmanship. Always feels good to make a saving - then put the money into something that gives the X-factor. Glad that you didn't skimp on the splashback - which is a beautiful white!

It fits Marrickville perfectly. Small spaces are better suited to a quality look like this - and it really goes with the retro theme.
