University Hill, Melbourne

Friends came to visit today arvo. They came with the nice beautiful brochures picturing OTP development in University Hill. It's relatively new suburb in Melbourne northern suburbs, but that's all I know about it.

I tried to talk them out off OTP, but consider already established units in the area. However I could not comment anything about suburb and it's growth prospects. Has anyone here have any experience in the area?

the entire area there is an estate type setup, lots of houses, all cheaply built, lots of land,
however, there is the new train station which is quite nice, overall the university hill shopping centre and all its all pretty nice, new and neat,
also teh people there arent your typical welfare sucking bogans

I was quite surpirsed when I visted my friend who lives there, I felt safe

as an investmenet, I wouldnt buy there at all, let alone OTP in there

most ppl buy in houses in bundoora as oppose to apartments. Wrong dev in the wrong suburb.
