It is key to have the right people on the ground looking after your interests. I have been fortunate to find a genuine, honest and hard working team that truly have their clients best interests at heart. Hard to come by in the US. Good management is key to the longterm success of the investment. Its also important to take on manageable properties. Cheap is not always good. It needs to be a property most property managers are comfortable with and would be happy to manage.
