Using a Home loan specialist

Hi
Am looking for a loan for our first IP? Have spoken to a homeloan specialist who has suggested we get a loan through CBA. (She does loans through about 50 different banks and CU.) Have not spoken to our own bank as yet. What are others thoughts on using a broker? Is it better to go straight to the bank?

Might I suggest the Property Finance forum?

Its best to find someone that does a lot of IP loans and is a broker.
