Value of car space/garage in Sydney

Hi everyone, just looking to to invest in an apartment in the inner west (five dock/drummoyne) area in sydney and wondering if anyone knows what value having a car space or garage will add to the price? or any ideas where i could find that information.
so many of the apartments are close to identical apart from this!
Educated estimate but I'd be adding anywhere between $30-50K extra for a carspace/garage in these suburbs. It would depend on size and type but given that parking is becoming a rarer beast the closer you get to the cbd buyers will pay this much extra vs a unit without parking.

Yep, I would have to agree with Jacque's assessment there. I looked at a 2brm unit is Ashfield a few months ago that had 2 security car spaces. One was on a separate title (the owners had obviously purchased it from another unit-holder without the need for a car).

It could have been sold for up to $55K and was positioned just a few hundred meters from the train station.
