I've waited over a week for a mortgagee sale to reply to my offer. No one at the bank wants to make a decision or the decision process is complicated.

It sucks but not a lot you can do but sit and wait. All part of the game when buying this kind of property.

unfortunately or fortunately the banks arent emotional owners ,

they take their sweet time on everything

your agent can put in a good word to try and sway them,

however, if the offer is already in, then just sit back and relax

The agent rang yesterday afternoon to say that she hadn't heard from the bank. I was a lover (but I think reasonable) offer so maybe they're waiting to see if there's anything better out there - or as some have suggested, maybe its just not a high priority for them.

Was offer of love to the agent or a bank employee?

Just an update on my original post. The agent has had a higher offer which will be accepted unless I better it and I'm not prepared to go that high so it's back to real-estate.com for me!
