wat's wrong with article?

I like reading MY's articles...but this one got my attention. I think it gives incorrect information (unintentionally, I would say) which can be costly..lets see what u guys find???

Hint: Comments at the bottom of the page might help identify....

Interesting that a non tax person would write an article advocating borrowing to pay interest. Someone in the comments challenges him on deductiblility and he confirms it would be deductible.

But he doesn't mention Part IVA at all and that the interest could be denied.

Exactly....I personally think Part IVA needs to be discussed by every accountant with their respective clients so these sort of (unintentional information) can be stopped before its too late....

In all fairness, he does mention that in order to do so, it needs to be structured accordingly.

That is another topic in itself as you will know.
