What is the best Mac torrent downloader

For Macintosh users. What is the best Mac torrent downloader.
Over several months I have tried a heap but they dont work or are very slow . I end up reverting to utorrent on windows for the same name file which is very quick.
However I now need a free Mactorrent downloaderr exclusively.
I have tried,bit torrent azureus, Tomatoe and several more that escape me.
Several searches reveal a lot of different choices, so they all cant be the best

Tranmission is very simple and works well, but I use Azureus for more control. With Azureus you can queue up torrents, schedule them so they only download overnight, set upload speeds, etc, etc.

how about utorrent under some virtualization software on the mac?
One problem is the Mac virtualization software is not free...

virtualization on the old Powerbook models is slooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwww.
isn't there something as good as utorrent for the mac. I have tried pretty much all freeware for mac including tomatoe and azureus which are pretty poor in comparison to utorrent
