What type of Facade do you like?

What type of fa?ade do you like???


Starting to get together some ideas.. At the start was thinking of going something like these... bit more modern

But now really like the look of this... Really like the wooden window frames and think the style would be popular longer. Looks more elegant.

I think number 3 is nice but I think all that moulding/tierd stuff is probably very expensive.

Development will be PPOR & IP.

If you are going to sell straight away then you can go something more fashionable but if you are holding I'd go more era nuetral.

Both nice beacause they still have the texture (wood & stone) but not over the top where they would date quickly.

At this stage planning on keeping both. But who knows.

Agree with your thoughts on #1 & #2

More talking about the facade at this stage no plan to have a flat roof.

Cost of brick pillar vs cost of support lentil along the top vs cost of someone reversing their car into it.

Lintels the way. With a soldiers course of bricks on top. I always look for that extra bit of brickwork on top of garages, windows, doors. Adds value. Arches, in small doses. Too many look dicky. Same as reverse arches on fences - yuk.
