Where to buy in Sydney for under $750K

Hi there, currently living almost 2 hours away from Sydney, I am looking to move within 30mins (25km approx) of Sydney (driving).
Minimum requirements are 4 bedroom with 2 bathroom.
I'm looking to spend no more than $750 000 and am needing alot of help to find a nice area where I can send my children to a good school (primary and high schools) and still get to Syndey and Parramatta quite easily and quickly (within 30 mins approx).
I have four children, so a four bedroom house is a must!!
Any help on suburbs would be great!

Thank you.

Hi Cait-e,

Below are a list of public non-selective high schools that performed well in last year's HSC that might also have houses in your price range. Of course, it will depend on whether you have boys, girls or a mix.

Cheltenham Girls’ High School (entry-level Beecroft or Eastwood/Epping)

You could consider Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills and surrounds. A number of good 4brm homes there for $750Kish.
Parramatta not far down Old Northern Rd or Windsor Rd.
Sydney CBD down the M2.

Anyone looked at Bardwell Park/Turella/Arncliffe/Bexley...fairly close to city...quite a few houses under $750k even for 4 bedroom 2 bathroom

Arncliffe is particularly undervalued. I think it features as a hot spot in Terry Ryder's report. $650-700k gets a very decent house on a decent block. Bardwell Park / Bardwell Valley / Turella are all quite leafy, middle class areas. $750k would get you 4 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms in these suburbs. All within 20 minutes drive of the CBD and all accessible by train.
