well I just think a private room is better when your playing a board game .. I just do not think it is appropriate to do that in a pub or restaurant. These places work on turn over of people, not people sitting there for 3+ hours playing a game. Plus it is a lot more enjoyable to take your time and talk freely about what you’re doing, instead of trying to play in a noisy area.

If I am talking about a social event .. then I like the idea of a restaurant or cafe.

Apologies mate, for some reason i didnt connect playing the board game and the private room bit in your post. Youre right, i cant imagine playing it in a noisy pub. In fact ive never played it, wots it like??
