Worth doing a reno from interstate - Any profit in it ?

Hi

Do you think its worth doing a 2 bed unit reno if your based interstate? The Brisbane pm is going to arrange for quotes and orgnise the tradies.

I wonder how much it will eat into my profit if I dont do any of the work myself or manage anything myself?

Maybe it would be more sensible just to buy something already renovated. What do you think??

Whats its end value post reno and work backwards from there. You would need a starting point of 40k under end value to make your 30k, assuming you are spending 10k on the reno

If you know any trades who will give you a good deal (thru here or family/friend ref), they can coordinate with the PM for property access.

PM normally wouldnt charge anything to arrange / coordinate, part of their normal job usually.
