the older hardies has paper stickers on the back stating 10% asbestos, in the boards , so be carfull,
Yeah that must be the one - 10% is what I was told at the time.
If it's too costly to remove I'll just keep it as is, or sell it 20yrs from now to the next bloke.
Are there any other ways to spot asbestos, especially when it's not clear when the house was built?
The builders can correct me if I'm wrong, but with the roof sheets and boards at the eves - you can tell if it's asbestos because it's speckled white through the board as opposed to just plain grey. Similar story with roof as well (ie. the ones that look like a million birds have crapped on it over the years )?
Is this correct?
