Wrapping Qld.

Can anyone provide any feedback on the legal requirements and/or any restrictions with regard to WRAPS / Lease OPTIONS in QLD.
Am receiving mixed messages from several legal sources and would appreciate feedback or contact with an experienced exponent of Vendor finance in the sunshine State.

Hi,

Attend the next Vendor Finance (WRAPS) Association meeting in Queensland, and ask those who are actually wrapping there (the QLD members).

Such questions are really dependant on your method;

- installment contracts
- lease options
- license to occupy

Thanks Michael

Seeing as how I am currently based in Melb. attending your next Assoc. meeting may be a little difficult.
Appreciate the offer.

Hi KHM

I think Gruber suggested the queensland one because you said you were interested in that area. I'd put my bottom dollar on there being a similar meeting in Melbourne in the not to distant future in which you could ask the same questions.

Check it out on the wrapping associations website.

Thanks Guys.
All i requested was some contact details for QLD Solicitors who handle WRAP Contracts.
I don't need chapter & verse on WRAPS.
Left messages with three Solicitor contacts provided in QLD. for NIL reply score.
Obviously too busy...
One did reply and wanted to charge in excess of $5000 to again supply chapter & verse on WRAPS in Qld.
The Q still stands.

Hi KHM

There are 14 "wrap savvy" lawyers listed in the "Wrapping Specialists" section of the Vendor Finance (Wraps) Association's website. I'm sure many of them will return your call.

Cheers, Lofty

KHM,

I think you'll find that the Vendor Finance Association won't give you chapter & verse or attempt to sell you costly training packages.

But it will allow you to network with active wrappers with lots of experience in the market you want to enter.

Cheers,
