LVR would be a good additional poll, & possibly a net assets (property) poll.

I agree. Both polls I've considered making too. If not one beats me to it, they'll come.

pinkboy, you make valid points but I think you've misunderstood the purpose of this poll. I'm not seeking a holistic insight into debt levels, loan value ratios, net worth, equity positions etc.

I'm after a simpler, more isolated metric -- just investment property debt.

But there is nothing to measure it. Its represents nothing more than a number with no meaning.

Your other polls will give you better data.

Why do none of these polls have an option for zero? Would be interesting to see the spread of newbies on the forum.

Im actually suprised to see that most people are over half a million in the hole. I would have thought it would be mostly 350k or less.

I actually thought the overall debt levels would be a bit higher (even accounting for the fact that there are many beginners, as well as folks so far down the track that they have a load of assets and hardly any debt left).

These polls never give a true representation of the SS Investors given that only 130 people have participated in the poll and there are over 14,400 SS members (although many members are inactive or may no longer visit this site).
