Actually it's nowhere near downtown - it's Gurgaon, near the outskirts (just around the corner from the Bristol Hotel for those who know the area).
Note the cows - we were lucky this day because normally their favourite position is in the middle of the road, and naturally you are not allowed to injur the cows, so the traffic which is quite homicidal towards other traffic would try and work their way around them.
Also I don't know what the traffic lights are there for - nobody actually pays attention to them.
