You don't appreciate how big this thing really is until you actually go and walk up to it. The carved white marble is simply breathtaking.
If you get the impression that the four towers surrounding the central structure are actually leaning outwards, you are not imagining things. They were deliberately constructed to lean away from the building in the event of an earthquake - so they would fall outwards and not towards the building.
