My poor IBM ThinkPad T22. This is not a screen saver or fancy graphic - the dark spots are actually dead pixels (well, dormant actually, since they come and go).
This is what happens when you lean on the lid too hard. All I was doing was leaning slightly on the lid (lid was closed) while I was trying to plug the network cable into the back of it. The loud crack really didn't sound good.
I've been using it like this for about 4 weeks now - and it is extremely painful. I don't have time to send it in for repair, since I know this screen is not in stock and will take several weeks to be replaced. An external monitor has helped, but I can't carry that with me !
Fortunately now I have my new laptop, so I can cope for a while longer until I have time to get this one repaired !
