    you have me confused now, can I borrow the LMI?, I dont have much-if any cash at the moment, It would be $250 a month more to go to 95%, but I could allways put some cash back(sell shares) in an off set to reduce the monthly cost right?

    yes its for a IP, I like the look of ratebusters actually, 6.57% for a 3 year fixed, no start up or on going fees plus an off set account.

    Bank Valuation

    I am just about to have my unit revalued, I called the bank (ING) and they said i have to apply for the loan before they will value it. my broker reccomends getting an independent valuation, but are they (ING) going to exept that? I thought they had to be on their panel ?.

    Hi, I own 1 property- a unit that was purchased off the plan in july 2001, settled in november 2002. My loan is with ING, I paid a 20% deposit -as their mortgage insurance would not look at a 1 bed unit. I want to get the property re-valued so I can borrow against it ,but they wont re-value...

    Waitara Investment Property

    I own a 1 bedroom unit in waitara gardens, opposite the station, don't know if you know the place but they are going for 370K and up, for 2 bedrooms. I also read capital gains for units in the area will only be around 4%(residex i think)

    i bought a unit about 2 years ago- off the plan for $297K, i settled Dec last year. the same units as mine are now selling for $330K, if i got it re-valued by the bank would they actually value it at that amount? or do they add some safety net in there. becuase i would like to borrow more money...

    anyone buying in sydney at the moment?

    as for the crime rate, i would'nt wan't to live in redfern. i installed an alarm for a lady who had her place broken into while she was sleeping,he walked upstairs into her bedroom and stole her laptop, this was only after moving in a couple of weeks prior.
