Thoughts of Washing Machine taps inside tub?

I think it is much better to have it all hidden. Most builders have them inside cabinetry these days. As long as you washing machine is hooked up correctly it won't leak.

    Instant hot water system question.

When you turn the tap on, water flows through the hot water system and triggers a sensor which opens a solenoid for the gas to flow and an ignitor lights the gas.

How do I remove this downpipe?

I second this. We use them at work all the time but we call them nylon anchors. Using a screw driver or old chisel you will be able to get it out and a new one will go straight back into the old hole. You can buy them from all hardware stores.

    Plumbing fittings quality

It is illegal for a plumber to install a fixture that is Not watermarked. You also run the risk of your house flooding from a faulty fitting and not being covered by insurance.

    Caesarstone - Arris edge issue??

It looks like it is 40mm. Caesarstone only comes in 20mm thick slabs. The bit without pattern is the mastic (glue) used to mitre the edge so it appears to be a 40mm top. This is normal.

    Cert IV in Building Construction

No one will know until something goes bad and you need insurance, or you sell the place and they ask for the permits to show it was done by a licensed builder. If someone hurts themselves during the renovation, a pipe bursts and floods the place or there is structural damage your insurance...
