It's been mentioned to me that the body corp certificate provided was the very basic free one provided by the agent. I thought they were meant to purchase one that had more detail in it. If they had, it would have stated that the house is owned by DoH. I then would have pulled out of the contract.

I'm just wondering if this should have been brought to my attention by the conveyancer? Should this have been in the owner's corp certificate? They didn't actually order one, they just relied on the one given to me by the RE agent in the sec 32.

Well I just found out this morning that the unit behind me is transitional housing. So people who are waiting to go into a housing commission house. She assured me that she is going to put in a request that the next tenants are not to be people with known drug/alcohol or mental health...

Could I be right to assume that a lack of history available on this house might mean it is a HC house? There's no rental/sales history whatsoever. Every house I looked up prior to buying this one has come up on a search.

I'd like to think that this house is not HC but what makes me think that it is, is that there is no rental/sales record whatsoever. When I look it up, it's like it doesn't exist.

Hoping its a one off occurrence too. Just wondering, if a house is a DOH/HC home does that mean it always will be? And potentially lowering the prices of houses around it even if it's a good street in a non HC area?

Shaneelastic, of course not all housing commission tenants are feral morons...but these are unfortunately. They're young, seem to be unemployed, verbally aggressive and possibly physically too. Totally socially disconnected. Have never introduced themselves, one has grunted something once...
