This weekend i put in an offer and signed the contract subject to finance. Later on the evening the agent calls back to tell me a few more offers have came in and they are higher then mine.
Furthermore, he advises me that for me to continue to offer on the house i need...
What the hell......
Agent calls me and says vendor has cancelled the contract because i didnt meet subject to finance. Which was not my fault as the bloody tenants did not let them(the bank) in to evaluate the house.

OK bit of an update
not much progress so far but i got a mate to call up the real estate to inquire about the property as it was still advertised on their site.
He told my mate the property was sold and for 347k.
I paid 340k.
So what the hell.....................

Seems like I have to let the court settle the issue between the vendor/tenant.
