Last time we went to Melb we stayed at the Langham, very nice, but a tad expensive, as we are taking the family would like to cut back on the accommodation, but still reasonable place to stay http://melbourne.langhamhotels.com.au/

Lots of tips, great. Also, DH and I are foodies, so please recommend restaurants, but not interested in restaurants that serve food on large plates and nothing on the plate and charge like wounded bull:eek: Just good fresh food that is reasonably priced. For those with a sweet tooth, last...
