    This is poorly thought out. If the 3yr rate gives you a saving or you think rates will move up then it is not a poor strategy to fix for that long, hell I would fix for 10 years at 6% if I could, who cares if the rates go to 5%, so I would be paying a little bit more than I could have been...

    Mine is similar, I went in on the 28th of Feb, I knew what I wanted, they just stuffed around for a week and a half so I missed the rate lock. I'm already incredibly unhappy with ANZ from when I originally got the loan as the lost my paperwork multiple times, and I ended up wasting over 1 weeks...

    Oh that's pretty shitty that they didn't tell me that, I sure hope it's extended, then again I couldn't have really lodged it today and it is really my fault for assuming that it would go for at least a month from announcement.
