    Definitely. A house to live, as much of an investment, is also a lifestyle choice. A 45 minute commute one-way is 375 hours in traffic for the 250 day working year. That's over two weeks straight in traffic for the year!! This, compounded over time, can take years from your life!

    Yes if you are working in Burswood, I'd do the same. Somewhere like Bayswater could be good also.

    I dunno about those commute times. If you leave for work at 8am from your house in Baldivis and expect to be in town at 8:30am, well I'd bet you'd be considerably late! Same goes for Alkimos. I work in Leederville with someone who commutes from Yanchep and it usually takes her about 1.5 hours.

    How much dosh do you have to spend? Where will you be working? There are many options. But no point buying a house in Baldivis if you work in the City.
