    I just got myself a Canon Legria HF21 video camera... very happy with it. It records in true full hd (1080p) unlike Sony, JVC and Panasonics in the same price range (~$1700) which only record in 1080i and then use marketing tricks to try to convince you that that's 'Full HD'.
