thanks guys - it was at the upper eschlons of our wish price. yep - two cashed up and ready to go buyers who both loved the place at first sight! doesn't help that it is in a tightly held desirable area - but we knew that when we pounced and bought. when we bought, the vendors had already...

nah - just the annual vist to the rele's in new zealand. a week spent lazying in front of the fire with good wine, coffee and company - looking forward to it. the two offers are identical - same money, same (no) conditions, same situations. both in the upper echelons of what we were hoping...

my thoughts exactly ... although if we do go "to auction" we would like it to be this thursday night (in front of the fire) with the interested parties only. see what agent says - if the current offers are around the $$ we were wanting, then we might just go for that.

i don't want to scare them off. agent is talking about bringing auction forward to this weekend as he believes there are others out there that will want the house and wants to get the competition heated without having a "dutch" auction - but i'm worried that it might scare off those with...

12 groups thru in 1/2 hour which was really good considering was only advertised on realestate.com (our choice to eliminate the tyre kickers). one couple was our secret squirrel - but their feedback was that there were a lot of positive comments, the house looked great (and was warm) and...

haha - hoping many others do too. hubby is putting the last blind up, i cleaned yesterday so only have to wipe the basins and kitchen benches over, and mop ... then, even tho it is sunny there is a cold wind, so make the house toasty and warm with the aircon and fire.

about what the agent's caravan reckon too. we're hoping with no stock, and lots of buyer competition in the area, that we'll get at least 3 groups thru that love it and a bidding war starts! obviously want more than 3 groups for the open tho - haha. agent rang at 8pm to say he'd had a dozen...

colour is beige royale (dulux), but looks like a cool beige/warm grey and changes with the light. very neutral and goes with everything. only went live tonight and apparently agent already has a dozen emails and phone calls.
