    thanks BoatBoy - I have been on this site and had a chat to a planner at the council but they say the info on this site is not survey accurate and the only way to ensure I understand what I am purchasing is to get a mining report.

    Hi I am looking at a res block in Silkstone with an old house on it which is in an area that has underground mining influences. RE mentioned there is shaft at the back of the block. I rang the council to get more info on this - they say I have to get a mining report done from an engineer...
