Haven't watched TV in ages :) Regardless of American TV or suing trees, this situation is wrong. Scenarios with frequent defamatory statements from the same person should have some way of resolution that a lawful and bring responsibility on the perpetrator.

Thanks for sharing your personal experience! It's good to know and help guiding others in the right direction. I agree that it makes other people think differently and act differently towards the victim of the defamatory comments and messages regardless of the perpetrator's reasons to do that.

I totally agree with that - majority of people just don't do anything. We had a situation when at the meeting of executive committe one of the members said " if you touch the strata manager you will see what I am going to do with you". The strata manager was a friend of that person. Nobody said...

That's an interesting idea :) Though I am against anonymous messages, because it doesn't help anyone, but makes things worse.

In a meeting it's just a reference to specific unit owner, but the abuse and defamatory statements without any proof happen in between meetings.
