4 of 8 units for sale

Hey guys, just wondering what you would make of this. There is a block of 8 units and 4 of them are for sale, I was considering taking a look at one as it has a pretty good yield.
But find it a bit funny that 4 of the 8 are up for sale at the same time..

Is this usualy a sign to stay away ?

I wouldn't say it was a sign, some owner may just decide to offload 4 for retirement or somehting? depends on the story behind it

It could be because someone has been buying up all the units in the block hoping to eventually have them all and redevelop, but the remaining 4 owners won't sell to him.

So he has decided to offload the 4 he's got now because he can make better use of the money elsewhere. I've seen this before in smaller blocks.

Don't think there is inherently worrying about the sale ie 4 out of 8, however you can find out easily enough through due diligence.

find someone who can get you an RPdata printout of the 4 units in question...if it's the same owner?? no dramas.

just do your DD, that's all
