$50,000 back pay

What a day. Read an email first thing where I was notified of an error in my take home pay over the last 12 months and that I am due for a $50k back payment (after tax!).

Well it's a nice surprise. I bought a bottle of Bolly on the way home and it's all gone.

peace.

How on earth did not not notice a $1000 shortfall each week .

Clearly they are paying you too much and you don't need it :p:D

I tend to agree with you Wylie:eek:

......It's a bit more complicated as it was a miscalculation of both my monthly income and my annual bonus - but I still should have noticed it.

Moving forward they also miscalculated my 2013 income to the tune of $2,000/month (after tax). Given I wasn't expecting it that $2,000/month is now being deposited directly into my managed share fund.

Funnily enough, my house in Newport has just been placed on the market and the agent called me today to tell me someone has removed a tree from below my house which now opens up the ocean view 180 degrees. Another freebie which should facilitate the sale of the house.

It doesn't rain it just pours money.

"but I'm just a lucky person"

Cheers.

Put those positive thoughts out there!

Well done with two great bonus' ... can feel your chuffed-ness from here
