a property being sold through multiple agents?

Just wondering what this means and any implications on our strategies for buying this at the best price for us. If the house is being sold by private sale... can we ring up all the agents to see who just wants to grab the commission and really push our offer to the vendor?
 
Get a feel for which agent you like and just make the offer through the one agent.
Otherwise, the other agents could all claim a slice of the commission.
Often it means that the house has been on the market for some time and they are working their way through agents trying to sell.
