Hi guys!,does any one know a good accountant that knows all the in's and out's of Investment Property taxation, that works on the Central Coast? It will save me going through the yellow pages and asking about a thousand questions.

I have just started looking for someone suitable in the Central Coast area also. Not that easy to find. It seems that this is a common problem in many areas going by the number of requests that this Forum attracts on this issue.

Previous Forum advice seems to centre around getting out there and researching those Accountants who invest in property themselves. I have recently been trying this by ringing local Accountants from the phone book with varying success. Basically many say sure they invest or have experience but how do I know how accurate this is?

I think that this area is critical to successful property investing. My previous Accountant has cost me money and time by basically being uninformed and unmotivated. However there is no real guide to help access specialists other than word of mouth.

Thanks Paul for your response and I know exactly where you're coming from, as you said they say sure, sure, I know about all investment properties but do they really? And how can we be sure?

Anyway thanks again I'll post any of my findings.
