Aldi in Brightwaters

I think Aldi is fine - very good value. Aldi is a store that can cater to just about everyone (including the brand snobs) but woolies/coles may be a far stretch some people.

If Aldi is right next door, it might reduce your value, the same way a Coles or Woolies would. But a couple of streets away...? Meh.

I was thinking it was a good sign for property prices in a similar vain to the 'Bunnings buy strategy' as those people surely do a little research before investing their dollars. Right next door and shading your back yard would be an issue as wobbycarly points out; but close by it's hard to see why it's not a positive.
