Any books to read to learn about development?

I'm looking for a practical book written recently (so hopefully still relevant to today's market conditions and regulations) that deals with the process of small scale development (duplexs, villas, townhouses etc)

A NSW specific book that is very practical / specific in detailing common pitfalls / risks and how to manage each stage of the process would be ideal.

Does anyone know of any such books worth reading?

* Profit from Property (Philip Thomas)
* An intelligent guide to Australian property development (Ron Forlee)
* Australian Property Development (Ron Forlee)

Same from me. Although not specific to nsw (ron is wa) but they will all give you an overall insight. Also books and articles from michael yardney contain some good info.

Cheers

There are only two books there at your link and you can buy both for $50. It is worth buying them both.

An advanced book is Professional Real Estate Development: The ULI Guide to the Business - David Hamilton

I have also read both of the below books and they are quite good. You should read both since not much info overlaps.

Profit from Property (Philip Thomas)
Australian Residential Property Development (Ron Forlee)
